Summer of Love

There's nothing you can do that can't be done...
Nothing you can sing that can't be sung...

Nothing you can say but you can learn how to play the game...
It's easy...

{All Need is Love -- The Beatles}

The MFA had a great mini-exhibit this summer. Amazing photos and album covers to commemorate the Summer of Love.

It was so amazing to see this original artwork and old black and white photos from that summer.

There was a simpleness, a pureness, and a joy that exuded from those photos on Haight Ashbury and around the country.

The music that came from that summer is still some of the best music out there!

...interesting how the second image with a few splotches color conveys the likeness of John Lennon. Thanks for stopping by!

Ah - so you, too, are of that era. Perhaps that's why I always enjoy what you post of Good.Random.Fun!
